Lead Ruby on Rails Developer

Are you a passionate web developer? Do you enjoy building new products and leading small teams? Oscar Technologies Inc is looking for a senior Rails developer to help refine our CRM and lead our team of developers. We want someone who thinks of the user experience first and has a passion for user centric development in the world of fintech.

We're looking to build a software development team out of our downtown Toronto office. It's a great environment for a web developer looking to immerse themselves in an environment with direct contact to their users and providing a significant stake in the product design.

Requirements

• team lead experience
• product lead experience
• significant Ruby on Rails experience
• experience with Git
• experience with unit and acceptance testing
• strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English

Nice to Haves

• experience with Agile team environments
• experience with HTML/CSS
• experience with Javascript frameworks (currently using Vue)
• familiarity with user experience design
